Bio
Mike Mentor is a Latino-American screenwriter and director, born to Dominican and Haitian parents in New Jersey and currently residing in Los Angeles, California. A former D1 NCAA athlete with a master's degree in media management, film, and TV from Wagner College. His writing and directorial debuts include short films, "Everyday (2022)," "Hot Feet (2022)," "Life with CTE: A Warren Sapp Story (2022)." All of which have won awards in their perspective categories worldwide such as in London, Paris, and widely celebrated in Spain. Mike has cultivated knowledge and inspiration from working on award-winning sets and an extensive background derived from cinematic history. The innovation and creativity involved in filmmaking drives Mike to continue to grow as a visionary artist. His unique perspective and vision are breaking barriers in the film industry because of the independent creativity he is able to orchestrate.
